Three out of four developers surveyed by Rehda reported an average increase of 13% in the overall cost of doing business, compared to 17% in the first half of 2022. Despite the rising interest rate, Tong believes that an investment in real estate remains a good hedge against inflation, as properties tend to hold better value in sticky inflation.
