For Suryani Senja Alias , the work of Puan Azah Aziz remains an important reference for understanding our local dress and textiles.

Through works such as Rupa dan Gaya Busana Melayu, Puan Azah Aziz documented not only what people wore, but also the knowledge, customs and cultural meaning woven into Malay textiles and dress. Uniquely linked to classical Malay literature, her research offers a deeper understanding of how textiles reflect our culture, identity and way of life.
