Old Klang Road is known to be one of the oldest historically significant roads in Kuala Lumpur. It was believed that Old Klang Road was to be the only link that would connect Kuala Lumpur to Port Klang. Back then, people used to row their ‘sampan’ down the river which is known as Sungai Klang. There is still a bridge linking this developed side of the river to the villages, while some of the oldest and established residential areas like Taman OUG and Taman Desa hold great value owing to their proximity to the city. Despite the road-widening works done on Old Klang Road, it is still considered as one of the busiest roads leading to Kuala Lumpur from Jalan Puchong.

Old Klang Road is directly linked to a number of major highways such as the Federal Highway (to Shah Alam and Klang), New Pantai Express (to Sunway, Petaling Jaya and Bangsar), Jalan Syed Putra (to KL City Centre) and the East-West Link (to Cheras and Kajang). Moreover, it is also just a few kilometres away from the KESAS Highway that connects to Puchong, Bukit Jalil and Klang, KL-Seremban Expressway and SPRINT Highway connecting to Damansara and Mont Kiara.

In simple words, Old Klang Road literally connects you to almost any part of Kuala Lumpur and Selangor.
