1. 政府将从2023年12月4日早上8时起,开放让1000万名符合资格的大马公民,申领100令吉eMadani电子现金。

2. 根据财政部发布的“常见问答”,只有在4款电子钱包申领,即马银行MAE、Setel、ShopeePay和Touch ‘n Go eWallet。

3. 申领者条件
- 收入RM100,000或以下
- 年满21岁及以上的大马公民
- B40 & M40群体
- 这项申请将从2023年12月4日开放至2024年2月20日。长达3个月的时间让大家提出申请。

4. 在申领前,申领者也必须通过验证电子设备的“了解您的客户”(eKYC) 来验证身分。符合资格并已完成eKYC验证流程,受惠者将可以在选择的电子钱包中“一次性”收到100令吉eMadani电子现金。 与过去一样,此过程从申请之日起需要24小时至5天的时间。

5. 受惠者之后可以在2024年2月29日前,通过选择的电子钱包,使用100令吉eMadani电子现金在全国180万家零售商或企业进行任何实体交易。

6. 当中包括点对点转账、现金兑换、支付水电费、支付政府相关费用、支持电讯后付费用和预付费用账单、购买游戏、支付泊车费或过路费、投资相关活动和电子商务交易或在线交易。

1. The government will open the door for 10 million eligible Malaysian citizens to apply for the RM100 eMadani electronic cash starting from 8 am on December 4, 2023.

2. According to the "FAQ" issued by the Ministry of Finance, it can only be applied for in 4 e-wallets, namely Maybank MAE, Setel, ShopeePay and Touch 'n Go eWallet.

3. Applicant conditions
- Income of RM100,000 or below
- Malaysian citizens aged 21 and above
- B40 & M40 Group
This application will be open from December 4, 2023 to February 20, 2024. It takes up to 3 months for everyone to apply.

4. Before claiming, claimants must also verify their identity through Know Your Customer (eKYC) verification of electronic devices. Upon qualifying and completing the eKYC verification process, beneficiaries will be able to receive a “one-time” eMadani eCash of RM100 in their chosen e-wallet. As in the past, this process takes 24 hours to 5 days from the date of application.

5. Recipients can then use the RM100 eMadani eCash for any physical transaction at 1.8 million retailers or businesses nationwide through their selected e-wallets until February 29, 2024.

6. These include peer-to-peer transfers, cash exchange, paying utility bills, paying government-related fees, supporting telecom postpaid and prepaid bills, purchasing games, paying parking fees or tolls, investment-related activities and e-commerce transactions or online transactions.

Budget 2023:

The stamp duty for houses worth between RM500,001 to RM1 million will be increased to 75% from the current rate of 50%, effective until 31 December 2023.

This is on top of the 100% stamp duty exemption for houses below RM500,000.

For example, a 100% exemption for a RM300,000 property purchase can save RM6,500 (in stamp duty) while a 75% exemption for a RM750,000 property purchase can save up to RM15,000 (in stamp duty).
