Top 10 lesson learned from the book MILLION DOLLAR HABITS:

1. "You are where you are and what you are because of yourself. Everything you are today, or ever will be in the future, is up to you. Your life today is the sum total result of your choices, decisions and actions up to this point."

2. "You can write the script of your own life, and if you are not happy with the current script, you can rip it up and write a new one."

3. "Success is the ability to live your life the way you want to live it, doing what you most enjoy, surrounded by people you admire and respect."

4. "Arise early each morning and read for 30 to 60 minutes in your field. Attend every seminar and course you possibly can. Make it a habit to seek out and attend at least four seminar programs per year in your field."

5. "Your “reference group” would determine as much as 95 percent of your success or failure in life. These can be members of your family; your coworkers; or members of your political party, church, or social organizations."

6. "The average self-made millionaire spends 20 to 30 hours per month thinking, studying, and planning finances."

7. "Your time is your life. Choose your job with care. Your time is more important than the money that you will receive. Money can be replaced, but time spent is gone forever."

8. "The Law of Sowing and Reaping: Whatsoever you sow, that also shall you reap. Whatever you put in, or do for others, will eventually come back to you."

9. "In one study conducted some years ago, the researchers found many men and women who accomplished great things had—when they were young—been avid readers of the biographies and autobiographies of successful people."

10. "The whole secret of a successful life is to find out what is one’s destiny to do, and then do it."

𝟐𝟎 𝐏𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐮𝐥 𝐋𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐛𝐨𝐨𝐤 '𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐇𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐭''.

1/ Habits are certain shortcuts that emerge in our brains - because the brain is constantly looking for ways to save effort. Once the short cut is created, then the actions happen automatically.

2/ Habits are triggered whenever a chunk of behaviour starts or ends. During the first phase, there is a trigger or a cue that tells the brain to move into habit mode and also specifies which habit to use. The second phase is routine - where everything happens automatically. Then there is the third phase of reward which tells the brain whether the habit is worth remembering for the future. Over time, the phases become more and more automated.

3/ It is the craving that drives the habit loop - cue, routine and reward.

4/ Once habits are formed, its tough to stop executing them. The mind craves for the habit and its associated reward.

5/ To speed up our habit creation, we need a cue, a routine, a reward (all a part of the habit loop) ,and additionally, a craving for the reward. e.g. to quickly create a habit for morning walk, have a cue (get up with sport shoes by the side of the bed, think about the reward (a lavish breakfast) and keep thinking about the reward, till it creates enough craving, and then follow the process.

6/ Habits never go off, but they can be changed. The rule to change an existing habit is to keep the same cue and the same reward, and change the routine.

7/ It was observed that the addicts who practiced the techniques of habit replacement as per the above philosophy stayed with the new habits, but only until a stressful event occurred in their lives, at which point most start to go back to their addiction - no matter how much they had practiced. However, those addicts who had, by this time, started to have belief in God or in themselves, could scrape through this stressful time. It wasn't precisely God, but belief itself that made the difference. Belief is what made the new habit loop absolutely permanent.

8/ Massive transformations happen in people's life when they are faced with adversity. An equal transformation can also happen when people are associated with the right social groups. Both play a vital role in upping our belief levels.

9/ Belief is easier when it occurs within a community - when people come together to help each other.

10/ There are certain keystone habits that help us establish many other habits. In real life, as an example, eating dinner with family, making your bed in the morning, going for a regular walk or exercise - these are "small wins". Once these are established as habits, they start influencing our mood, and many other habits and causes major shifts in our life

11/ Small Wins do not have a small impact. They bring you in the habit of winning. They may not have a linear or direct relationship with your goal, but they can change your mindset to a winning mindset which is quite likely yo have a positive impact on your goal.

12/ Just writing a daily journal of the food we eat is a keystone habit, that can play in our mind to change the way we think about food, nutrition and what we should be eating. A real experiment showed that those who kept a daily journal lost twice the weight than those who did not. Same goes with tracking your expenses every day. Just the act of daily tracking is good enough to control your expenses.

13/ Willpower is the single most important keystone habit for individual success. As an example, it has been proven that self discipline (a thread of willpower keystone habit) has the biggest effect on academic performance, much higher than even intellectual talent.

14/ Willpower is not just a skill. If it was a skill, it should stay nearly the same through the day. Willpower is like a muscle, just like the muscles in your arms or legs. It gets tired as it works harder - so there is less power left as the day progresses and you use this power in various activities. That's a strong reason to justify that maximum family issues occur during the evening or night with the partners losing patience, when the willpower has mostly been consumed in the day.

15/ Once willpower becomes stronger (doesn't matter how - through regular walking, studying, financial budgeting, gyming etc.), it starts to positively impact every other field.

16/ People want to be in control of their lives. Giving employees more power to take decisions improves their self discipline enormously, rather than giving them specific set of instructions to follow the process.

17/ In most organizations, there is always a delicate balance between all departments, each head trying to defend and nurture their own departments. But in extreme cases, it should be clear that which department, or person, goal needs to take ownership and overshadow everyone else.

18/ A company with dysfunction habits cannot turn around just because a leader orders it. Wise executives seek out moment of crisis - or create the perception of crisis, which cultivates the sense among everyone that something must change. The crisis time should never be wasted. Its an opportunity when everyone is open to change. That's the time to hit the hammer.

19/ The behaviors that occur unthinkingly are the evidence of our truest selves. And these behaviors are an outcome of automated habits.

20/ With practice and patience, and going through the habit loop, any habit can be changed.

Hope these 20 powerful lessons will help shape up your thought process to some extent and help you manage your life much better..

𝟏𝟎 𝐋𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝟑𝟔𝟓 𝐃𝐚𝐲𝐬 𝐖𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐒𝐞𝐥𝐟-𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞.

1) Life's easy when you live it the hard way... and hard if you try to live it the easy way.
2) Your choices are made in a moment, but their consequences will transcend a lifetime.
3) Self-discipline comes down to choosing between instant and delayed gratification.
4) Quitting when you're panicked is dangerous and expensive. The best quitters are the ones who decide in advance when they're going to quit. You can always quit later so wait until you're done panicking to decide.
5) No one saves us but ourselves. No one can and no one may. We ourselves must walk the path.
6) In order to succeed, you must have a long-term focus. Most of the challenges in our lives come from a short-term focus.
7) Discipline is choosing between what you want now and what you want most.
8)If you use moderation as an excuse not to push your limits, you're mistaking moderation with mediocrity.
9) Most of us dread the deadening of the body and will do anything to avoid it. About the deadening of the soul, however, we don't care one iota.
10) I think if you do something and it turns out pretty good, then you should go do something else wonderful, not dwell on it for too long. Just figure out what's next.

𝐓𝐨𝐩 𝟏𝟐 𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐨𝐧 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐝 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐛𝐨𝐨𝐤 - 𝐁𝐔𝐈𝐋𝐓 𝐓𝐎 𝐒𝐄𝐑𝐕𝐄:

1. Humans are built to serve. Some people are built to serve the world. Others want to serve the 25 closest people to them. But in either case, humans are built to serve.
2. Everybody has Michael Jordan-level talent... at something.
3. All the great things in your life are connected. Your job is to find what the connection is.
4. Money is just a tool. And it's a very important one.
5. Money is important Even if you're a charity, money is important. It's just not number one. But it's also not number one hundred. Money should be in your top five priorities.
6. Your spouse is the family you choose, and it's one of the most important decisions you'll ever make.
7. The greater your unhappiness, the greater your actions will need to be.
8. You need to be courageous enough to make the change. Knowing alone is not enough. Action is required.
9. You've been running your entire life with your hands tied behind your back and it's time to explode forward.
10. Self-awareness and the boldness to follow to follow-through are the greatest gifts you can give yourself.
11. If you're not consistent in your bold thinking, you won't be consistent in your bold actions. It's really hard to be in an environment of mediocrity and at the same time stay consistently inspired.
12)Perfect does not exist. If you wait until you know everything before you start helping, you'll never start.

7 RULES OF LIFE
°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°

Pagi ni Abe nak kongsikan 7 rules of life ikut Mat Salleh. Awas, Panjang❗️

Kalau orang Islam Rules pertamanya ialah kena takut pada Allah. Buatlah apa-apa, kena ingat samada Allah redha atau tidak dulu.

Tapi Abe nak kongsi jugak Rules Hidup Mat Salleh's Style. Manalah tahu ia mampu menceriakan kawan-kawan hari ni.
7 Tips Hidup Mat Salleh's Style
1️⃣ Biarkan Ianya Pergi (Let it Go)

Jangan sesekali hari semalam yang teruk menghancurkan hari ini yang bakal menjadi baik.

Jangan fikirkan sangat. Jangan over think. Benda pun dah lepas. Let it Go. Sap kok luh.

2️⃣ Lantak Hanglah (Do Not Give a Fudge)

Jangan dengar sangat kata-kata orang. Biarlah apa orang lain kata.

Kadang-kadang kita takleh dengar sangat kata orang lain.

Lantak pilah diaorang.

Teruskan hidup yang memperkasakan diri anda sendiri bukannya mereka (style individualistik Amarekka).

3️⃣ Biarlah Masa Berlalu (Time Heal Everything)

Masa mengubati segalanya.

Cuba korang imbas kembali masalah yang berlaku tiga ke lima tahun dahulu.

Masa ianya berlaku, Ada tak masalah ni korang rasa kalau tak settle ni, matilah masa depan aku?

Sekarang, cuba fikirkan balik, kehidupan korang dah teruk sangatkah? Masalah sama tu besar tak sekarang? Ke dah takde mende dah?

Contoh, masa Abe bergaduh dengan boss lama Abe 5.5 tahun dulu, Abe rasa habis dah la keluarga Abe.

Abe kena jual dah semua harta Abe. Rumah, kete, anak kena tukar sekolah.

Bankrap dah Abe. Tak taulah samada betul ke tak Abe buat kerjaya unit amanah ni full time. Besar betul masalah tu masa tu.

Tapi hari ni masalah tu bukan masalah lagi. Masa telah berlalu dan Abe rasa patutnya Abe tak pening sangat dulu.

Bende boleh settle. So the points is rilekslah dengan masalah depan mata. Nanti esok-esok bila pikiaq balik rupanya takde mende sangatlah!

4️⃣ Jangan Terlalu Bersaing Dengan Orang Lain (Do not over compete)

The only person yang anda perlu kalahkan ialah diri anda yang semalam.

Cuba kalahkan rekod anda yang terdahulu.

Nak benchmark orang lain okay. Supaya anda boleh nampak pelan jangka panjang.

Namun, membandingkan dengan orang lain secara direct jangan sekali. Nanti stress tak bertempat.

Jangan gila nak jadi champion sampai anda buat banyak sangat musuh. It is just a throphy. Tahun depan ada lagi peluang.

Kalau hari ni anda golongan B40, cubalah improvekan diri anda jadi golongan M40.

Kalau anda hari ni golongan M40, cubalah improvekan diri anda jadi golongan T20.

Always try to continuously improve your life. Self growth is the key. Kaizen kata orang Jepang.

5️⃣ Tak Tahu Takpe

Kekadang, anda akan buntu untuk menyelesaikan sesuatu. It is okay.

Ketahuilah lambat-laun masa akan menentukannya dan anda akan menyelesaikannya jua.

Paling teruk tak mati pun kalau tak selesaikannya pun.

Tak de orang tahu segalanya. Ingatlah, dunia je belaka ni.

6️⃣ Segalanya di bahu anda (Stop blaming others)

Hanya anda yang bertanggungjawab atas kebahagian anda sendiri. Bukannya orang lain.

Jadi berhentilah menyalahkan orang lain atas segala kesusahan anda.

Belajarlah terima kesalahan diri sendiri.

You chart your own destiny!

7️⃣ Senyumlah (Think positive and smile 😃)

Hidup di dunia ni sementara sahaja. Enjoy it while it can.

So don't worry today, be happy! Senyumlah, senyumlah, ahai Cek Mek Molek!

Semoga post ini bermanfaat. Until Then, Happy Enjoying Your Long Weekend. I know I will❗

20 Lessons From the Book “Secrets Of the Millionaire Mind”

1. If you’re not doing as well as you’d like, all that means is there’s something you don’t know.

2. It’s not what we don’t know that prevents us from succeeding; it’s what we know that just ain’t so that is our greatest obstacle.

3. If you want to move to a higher level of life, you have to be willing to let go of some of your old ways of thinking and being and adopt new ones.

4. I have a saying: “It’s not enough to be in the right place at the right time. You have to be the right person in the right place at the right time.

5. The key to success is to raise your own energy; when you do, people will naturally be attracted to you. And when they show up, bill ’em!

6. These four quadrants are the physical world, the mental world, the emotional world, and the spiritual world.

7. A lack of money is never, ever, ever a problem. A lack of money is merely a symptom of what is going on underneath.

8. Your financial blueprint consists primarily of the information or ‘programming’ you received in the past, and especially as a young child.

9. The first element of change is awareness. You can’t change something unless you know it exists.

10. The second element of change is understanding. By understanding where your ‘way of thinking’ originates, you can recognize that it has to come from outside you.

11. The third element of change is disassociation. Once you realize this way of thinking isn’t you, you can separate yourself from it and choose in the present whether to keep it or let it go—based on who you are today, and where you want to be tomorrow.

12. If your motivation for acquiring money or success comes from a nonsupportive root such as fear, anger, or the need to ‘prove’ yourself, your money will never bring you happiness.

13. Money can’t make you something you already are.

No thought lives in your head rent-free.

14. You have to believe that you are the one who creates your success, that you are the one who creates your mediocrity, and that you are the one creating your struggle around money and success.

15 . Your field of focus determines what you find in life.

16. If you want to get rich, focus on making, keeping, and investing your money. If you want to be poor, focus on spending your money.

17. Again, energy is contagious: either you affect people or infect people.

18. Resenting promotion is one of the greatest obstacles to success.

19. The size of the problem is never the issue—what matters is the size of you!

20. Living based in security is living based in fear.
