In 1997, Lex Yap started his career in the financial sector by providing services in financial planning and business investments to clients. This was mainly due to his fervent wish and deep-rooted interest to build his wealth from a very early age. A few years later in 2001, he started to invest in properties. Then in 2002, he joi

ned the real estate industry. Being very eager to share his experiences, he published his first book "How to Build your Wealth through Buying, Renting and Selling Properties”. He wrote the book in the Chinese language. The book revealed strategies that he had employed to acquire properties. It was his aim to assist his reader in accumulating wealth through the purchase, rental and sale of properties. After he obtained his Certified Financial Planner (CFP) licence in 2005, he was more confident with his skills in property investment, as he was armed with more financial planning knowledge. When he obtained his Real Estate Agent licence in 2015, he became the Principal of Metroworld Realty Sdn Bhd besides taking up its directorship. With all the experience and knowledge that he have gained over a period of two decades, he published his second book”Everyone can buy property”, but this time round, the book is written in English language. He has organised talks and seminars to share his experience in property investment. In 2017, Lex Yap start his own company Centricity Realty. Centricity Realty has registered with the Board of Valuers, Appraisers And Estate Agents Malaysia (which is under the purview of Ministry of Finance) . Centricity Realty formerly known as Metroworld Realty Sdn Bhd. Lex Yap was Center Director of Metroworld Realty Sdn Bhd. He form Centricity Realty in 2017 after he left Metroworld Realty Sdn Bhd. Centricity Realty is led by its Principal and dedicated management team who has more than 18 years experience in real estate industry. Centricity Realty is registered with Board of Valuers, Appraisers and Estate Agents Malaysia in Nov 2017.

The vision of company is “Everyone can buy property”. In line with the company ‘s vision,company has three departments-sub sale, new project and auction which can help clients to fulfill their dreams of owning their properties, by enlighten them the latest property market and best deal.

The sub sale team focus in commercial,industry and residential. They are servicing IOI buildings,Hong Leong buildings, Bukit Bintang commercial properties etc.The highest deal done by Lex Yap was RM28 million for a piece of land in Jln Raja Chulan opposite The Weld.

The new project team has served many developers like Low Yat Group, Mitrajaya Holding Bhd, OSK Property Holdings Bhd, WCT ,Tropicana,Sdb etc. Currently they are focus on The Waltz Residences Oug ,Bandar Tasik Puteri Rawang and Tropicana Metropark. The new project team has sold 103 units of landed house in Hulu Langat Taman Cempaka Lui in a very short time.
