Kes tanah ni sebenarnya tak kenal siapa betul siapa salah dulu, dia kenal satu benda je: tanah terbiar memang mengundang masalah.

Ahli Parlimen Hulu Langat, Mohd Sany Hamzan pun dah bersuara pasal isu ni.

Bila tanah lama tak dijenguk, semak samun, tuan tanah duduk jauh, jangan terkejut kalau ada pihak datang buat-buat “rajin”, bersihkan guna jentera, lepas tu jual ikut kepala sendiri.

Sekarang ni menipu tak tunggu malam, siang hari pun berani.

Dalam kes Semungkis ni, bila ejen hartanah sendiri turun padang barulah terbongkar ada orang cuba jual lot 2,400 kaki persegi RM70k, siap yakinkan bakal pembeli. Nasib baik belum ada yang terpedaya.

Point yang penting di sini bukan nak salahkan pemilik, bukan juga nak tutup mata pada penipuan.

Hakikatnya, tanah yang tak dipantau memang mudah disasarkan. Sama ada tanah kecil atau besar, kalau nampak macam “tak bertuan”, memang ada yang cuba nasib.

Mohd Sany cakap benda logik: pemilik tanah, especially yang duduk jauh, kena jenguk atau upah orang pantau. Zaman sekarang, menipu tak tunggu malam. Siang hari pun berani sebab nampak macam tanah tak bertuan.

Pada masa sama, pembeli pun kena sedar. Tanah bukan beli kasut. Tak boleh tengok bersih, terus percaya. Geran, status, kelulusan, semua kena semak.

Tanya orang kampung, penghulu, pejabat tanah. Kalau ragu, undur satu langkah lebih selamat dari rugi seumur hidup.

Kesimpulannya mudah:

Pemilik kena pantau.
Pembeli kena periksa.
Pihak berkuasa kena tegas.
Kalau semua main peranan, lot lidi tak sempat jadi lubang penipuan.
