Upon knowing my background and expertise, the usual first question from strangers would be "So... what's the BEST property?" I usually just smile and reply ""Well, It depends...", not because I'm just shrugging the conversation off, but it really does depend on many factors.
"BEST property" is defined differently by every individuals. There is no such Built-to-Suit-Everyone kind of House.

- For Investment, I think choosing a property is much easier. It's all about the Capital Growth and Rental Yield with the budget you have and target ROI, (despite what size or location).
- For Own Stay, this would be trickier, and may proceed to the next few considerations

- Whether if landed property (Link houses, Semi-D, Bungalow) or high rise development, depending on needs.
- New launch development or Subsale?

3. PRICE RANGE
- What is the budget? Think of how much you would be able to put aside from your monthly income with still sufficient savings for rainy days. Also take into consideration possibility of salary increment and promotion.
