On 7th August 2026, SEDC PERMATA Sdn. Bhd. paid a courtesy visit to Majlis Bandaraya Kuching Selatan (MBKS) to strengthen strategic relationships and introduce the company’s expertise in Facilities Management. The visit also aimed to explore potential collaboration opportunities by offering comprehensive facilities management services to support MBKS’s operational and maintenance needs. The SEDC PERMATA Sdn. Bhd. delegation was led by Puan Margaret ak Peter Anthony Johit, Facility Manager.

On 5th August 2026, a three (3) member evaluation panel from the Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB) Malaysia, led by Ts. Sr. Masnizan Che Mat, conducted an official site visit to SEDC Permata.
The visit was part of the Final Evaluation (Tier 3) process for the Malaysian Construction Industry Excellence Award (MCIEA) 2026, following the successful shortlisting of SEDC Permata Sdn. Bhd. ("Permata") under the FM Contractor Category.
