"Housing Issue in Mukah. For the information of the Ahli Yang Berhormat bagi Tellian my ministry is actively monitoring
three housing projects undertaken by KS Tiong Sdn. Bhd. in Mukah and continues to collaborate with the developers, financial institutions and relevant agencies to facilitate recovery efforts and protect the interests of house purchasers. The projects, namely Taman Kingsum, Taman Indah and Taman Qinrara, are currently at various stages of recovery.
For Taman Kingsum and Taman Indah, the construction of most housing units is nearing completion, only the infrastructure works remain outstanding. The developer is currently undertaking project restructuring and sourcing additional financing to accelerate completion.
Meanwhile, Taman Qinrara has recorded only two unit sales due to weak market demand, and the developer is exploring possible solutions including joint venture collaborations and refund arrangements for the affected purchasers. House purchasers may also lodge claims with the Tribunal for Housing Purchaser Claims, subject to its jurisdiction, and all decisions issued by the Tribunal are legally binding and must be adhered to."
