“I just got an email at 9am and 24 hours to leave🥹…”
A friend just shared about how she lost her job in a leading technology company without any prior notice. Isn’t that scary? Isn’t that sucky as well?
“Gotta redefine security…”
Especially for those with families to feed, please do always check on several things:
- Emergency fund~ How long can we live on without a job or income?
- Insurance protection~ Can our family life be as usual if we are admitted into hospitals?
- Happiness level~ Unfortunately this can be discussed only when the prior 2 are resolved. For singles or D***s, you guys will be fine. Just go get another job:)
These are extremely important factors when we make home buying decisions. Imagine providing a “dream home” level property for the family at 60% of our income and shxt happened… Also, since when employment became a security? In this case, a personal business is considered more secured right?
Just imagine receiving that email tomorrow morning, and you are official unemployed 24 hours later… Are you ready for such tragedy? Suddenly all those “nice to have” things on BNPL schemes will eat us alive😣 My thoughts are scattered all around right now with that sudden change in my friend’s career.
Hopefully my friends will be alright🥺
