This round of Project Powerlab was my third time joining, and I had two major takeaways.
First, it was my very first time taking on the role of Team IC. It was a new challenge for me, as I had to ensure that my team members were on track with their tasks while also checking in regularly to make sure they were doing okay mentally. It taught me the importance of leadership through support and communication.
Second, I gained a deeper understanding of mind mapping. I have heard about the concept before from Anthony, but this time I picked up something new, which is called the “attempt closing” method. It really caught my attention, especially because I’m still figuring out the right timing to apply closing techniques with my clients. While it sounded simple when Anthony explained it, I quickly realized that applying it in real life is a whole different game. It's something I need to practice a lot more to master and I’m committed to improving until it becomes very easy.
Overall, this round was really an eye opener for me. I picked up new skills and also realized that there is still so much more to learn. I really feel grateful for the journey that this Project Powerlab has taken me on, the guidance from the leaders and captains, and also my colleagues that I got to work with. Looking forward to applying all these new set of skills and showing up better next round of Project Powerlab!
