When Razin first walked into his unit at The ERA, he panicked. It felt so small he couldn’t imagine living there long term.

Before giving up on the place, he decided to renovate it properly first. That’s when he met Kawthar, whose renovation company has good reviews online and has been in Malaysia for 10 years.

Together with designer Renuka, they went with a Muji-inspired theme, focused on making the space feel spacious and functional without losing storage. Now Razin can’t believe it’s the same unit he almost gave up on.
