Is this a miracle? Or finally… a win for the residents? 💥

At Haven Lakeside Residences, a condo in Tambun, Ipoh:

📣 The developer, property manager, and contractor

have been ordered by the High Court in Ipoh to pay RM1.13 million back to the JMB!

----

Why?

Because even after the JMB was formed,
the developer didn’t hand over the proper funds,
continued using their own contractor to manage,
and misused the condo’s money.

Residents were left with poor maintenance and no transparency!!!!

💡What can we learn from this?

🔸 The JMB is a legal authority, not a decoration
🔸 Developers & contractors cannot misuse JMB funds
🔸 One party cannot act as developer, manager & contractor all-in-one
🔸 The law is on the side of owners — if you're brave enough to act

✅ If something fishy is going on in your condo:
📂 Check the accounts
🧾 Review the contracts
⚖️ Ask questions — someone might owe your JMB an explanation (or a cheque!)

😩 Welcome to condo life — where one leak can ruin your reputation.

DioDioMei — Taiwan’s live-selling queen 👑
Owns multiple luxury properties, including TWO units in the same condo.
But her biggest drama?
🛁 Not sales. Not haters.
It’s… a leaking bathroom.

Her downstairs neighbour complained:

Your lift inspection fee just jumped from RM3,000 to RM13,000 for 8 lifts.

Why? Because under OSHA 2022, inspection is mandatory every 15 months to renew your lift license.

No inspection = no license = lift cannot operate. 😰

This hits everyday condos the hardest — more lifts, tighter budgets, limited sinking fund.

📣 Strata Managers Association has appealed to the Minister of Human Resources (MOHR) to review this fee hike and protect struggling JMBs/MCs.
