'A little push to the right direction can make a big difference'

But what's makes a good direction varies from one person to another.
💁‍♀️🧕👵🧔🧓

The few main reasons are as such :-

1. Feng Shui
🔹️FS followers believe a specific direction will benefit them in terms of health, success & relationships.

2. Sun! 🌞 plays a major factor in this.
🔹️If you'd like to avoid the sun, then your house should face North or South, as the sun rises in the East and sets on the West.
🔹️If you are one who loves the morning sun to shine through your house, then facing East will be a good.
🔹️If you'd like to fully maximize your solar system, placing it to face towards the West will be most ideal.

3. View.
🔹️Faces the park? 🏊‍♂️ Pool? Main road?
🔹️Have spectacular view like KLCC Or have a serene picturesque 🏞 mountain view at the back.

House hunting is quite an interesting adventure indeed!

There has been very very little information found on how to relocate a residential TNB meter. I needed to move it as I was moving the location of my gate and the TNB meter was in the way.

Here are some useful tips for you. All relocation of TNB meters (whether its on the wall or at the pillar next to front gate) must be applied directly to TNB. I had some quotes from 3rd party contractor but I was not comfortable with it.
(This is different from applying for an upgrade of 3-phase meter from single phase, which requires 3rd party contractor registered with TNB)

I was pretty satisfied with TNB's service albeit it was a long process. They did it very professionally and tar my road back after.

Hope this helps for those renovating your future home 🏘 !

Let's talk about Subang Jaya!

🏠 USJ 2

USJ 2 was the first 'USJ' taman, with the first school, SMK Seafield. I remembered how my friends and I got separated when this school was opened, whoever had the USJ address had to be moved there almost instantly 😭

Types of Houses 🏘️
📌 Bungalow (various sizes!)
📌 Double Storey Semi-D (3821 sq ft & 5608 sq ft - interesting to note that USJ2 has a row of semi D that has the highest sqft in the whole USJ)
📌 Double Storey Terrace (1195 sq ft, 1647 sqft, 1798 sqft, 2088 sqft)
📌 1.5 Storey Terrace (1561 sq ft)

Key points:
✔ SMK Seafield & SK USJ2 🏫
✔ Masjid Al Mukminun 🕌
✔ A row of commercial shoplots with eateries, pharmacy & GP 🛍
✔ 2 huge well maintained playground
✔ right opposite Da Men & Summit

🌞 Fun Fact : did you know before the existence of Kesas, persiaran Jengka (the road between SS14 & SS18) extended all the way into USJ 2? There were 3 entrances into USJ from SS area.

Pillars, pillars and more pillars 🏛? Why are there so many pillars in the house 🏠?

That was one of the issues I felt, more apparent when I entered most of the subsale renovated units.

Most of these pillars are required to be there to support the overall structure 🗜 of the house. Should any pillars be removed, the house structure will need to be reinforced 🏗 somewhere else. Please ensure your contractors is aware of this! Sure we would love a big uninterrupted space, but sometimes it's unavoidable. However there's many ways to hide these pillars, by mirrors 🪞or smart built-ins (eg display cabinet) to cover it up.

I've learn heaps on subsale units and hope to share it along the way!

Moving into a new place?

I just got to find out that this is where everyone's going to buy lights 💡 and fans for their house!

The queue is super long, they have a shoplot space just to manage the queue, and if you notice there's RELA personnel on standby there as well! W😱
