The EC game just changed. Biggest policy shift since 2013. 🏠

Singapore just doubled the MOP to 10 years, scrapped the Deferred Payment Scheme and gave first timers 90% priority access.

What does this actually mean for you?

🟢 First Timer — you just got the biggest leg up in years. 90% of units. 2 year priority window. Less competition.

🔴 HDB Upgrader — tougher road ahead. No more DPS to buffer your cash flow. You may need to sell your flat earlier or rethink your timeline.

You always see agents posting beautiful, move-in ready homes.

But not every viewing looks like that. 😅

I didn’t even plan to post this unit because… the condition was rough. The smell, the mess, the shock on my face, it’s all raw and authentic.

But after so many reactions to my story, I decided to share the raw, unfiltered side of property viewings too.

Many Singaporeans assume their spouse can automatically sell the house or manage finances if something happens to them.
