Dear All Residents,
OK....let me update up guys about current RA structure...RA consist of President, VP, General Secretary, AGS, Treasurer AT, 2 auditors and 13 working committee (average 3 committee members from each phase). We have restructured RA into 3 bureaus that hold by 5 committee members in each bureau which is Security Bureau, Community and Welfare Bureau last but not least Complain and Facility Bureau.
The name list of each bureau are as follows:
Security Bureau - headed by En. Bard with assistance of Ivan Toh, Thomas Lee, Saktiya and Wong Ming Huat.
Any issue regarding security, safetiness, theft, break in, police patroling, suspicious event or people in the neighbourhood so on and so forth, you can always report to En. Bard or any of th members whom you know of.
Community and Welfare Bureau is headed by En. Mohm Helmy with the assistance of Kak Zanaria, Shireen Lim, Mr. KC Thee and Ms. Asiah.
Any ideas about event for the entire M Residence neighbourhood shall be in charged and handle by this bureau such as gotong royong, pot luck, mini marathon, mini cycling, kenduri raya....or even when comes to marriage and (touch wood...) death event in the neighbourhood, this bureau will take action.
Last but not least and the most important bureau, Complain and Facility Bureau - headed by Mr. Brandon Low and with the assistance of Dr. Lee, Howard Lai, Allen Wong and Ms. Jessie Ker. As u know through the name of this bureau, any issues about complain, any issues about the common area such as vandalism, insufficient amenities in public area, malfunction of public facilities shall go to this bureau.
I also like to take this opportunity to clarify an issue that brought up by a few of the residents after the AGM Meeting last month....which is about the collection of RM15 on that day. Firstly I would like to apologise for not able to inform every residence in advance about the membership registration and RM15 collection prior before the meeting, we were too rush to organise this AGM and certainly inexperience to consider all perspective, with this, I would like to represent the entire RA to apologise. Well, as you all know M-Residence Association is a voluntary association, it started with a group of residence with a very simple vision 'To make M Residence the best place to stay!" But when we started to run the association we realised that we hv totally no funding at all to do anything such as priniting the AGM Notice to every resident, make banner to create the awareness of AGM, printing the RA Membership application form....all these money was paid by individuals. Which mean to say before RA able to have money into the account, RA is already in debts....So I hope to those who are doubt why would we collect this RM15 and what is this money for, I hereby explain the usage of this money. RM10 is actually a one-time-collection for the registration of RA membership, and RM5 is an annual member's fee. I hope this clarification may clear some doubts, meanwhile also create the awareness to those who did not come to the AGM would join into the RA membership.
RA as an association can only be strong and able to hv a stronger bargain power to any parties when all residents are united. When RA has everyone who stay in M Reidents become members, then we have 847 families backing up RA to do anything that benefit the neighbourhood. Therefore, I would like to enrol those who has not become RA member, please join us, u will later realise how we able to serve you and make this place the best place we call home.
