Story of Suntrack.
In the late 80s, we were known as “Sunshine Tractors,” supplying construction equipment at a time of the infrastructure boom in our country.
In 1999, we re-entered the construction business to build landed houses in Balakong, and renamed ourselves “Suntrack”. It was an interesting story that led us here. A client who was financially strapped paid his debt to us with 18 pieces of land for development of semi detached houses, in Balakong. Thus began our venture into property development.
Our CEO James Tan was a graduate engineer, fresh out of university then. His father, the MD at the time had this to say to him: “You are an engineer. Go figure it out.” It was a beginning that started with a need to learn everything from scratch. It continued on as a journey that is now a passionate endeavor to make a difference.
James is ever grateful for the faith that his first 18 customers placed in him.
