《大家来一起过年》(Mari sama sama tahun baru Cina )这是我在英国工作的第二个年头,农历新年快到了，我却没办法回到马来西亚的家。在异国的冬天，我一边工作，一边想起马来西亚的阳光、巴刹的早晨、咖啡店的香味，这都是马来西亚最热闹的地方。还有新年时家人朋友围在一起的笑声。正因为这份想念，
我写下了这首《大家来一起过年》也不只是一首全部关于华人农历新年歌，它也是一首属于马来西亚三大民族的歌曲——华人、马来人、印度人，我想念钓鱼，跑步的马来朋友，印度朋友，华人朋友，我们用不同语言、不同文化，唱出同一个“在一起”的心。歌里有华人的灯笼、饺子与祝福，有马来语的热情与笑声，也有淡米尔语的节奏与庆典感。就像马来西亚一样，多元，但却温暖与团结。祝愿：马来西亚的朋友及家人和我爱的人，马年进步，新年快乐
