A building is a structure with walls and roofs, formed from joining or assembling parts or materials. Usually, a building is made, following a specific plan and design. All buildings, no matter the type, is made for either residential or commercial purpose, and at times, both.
Residential buildings are structures meant for people to live in. These include houses, condos (single units), pros, single family home, etc. Residential buildings could be large or small, basically depending on the financial budget, land space and the number of people it will serve.
Commercial buildings are basically meant for 'working, business, trade or commercial' activities. They could either be small or large. Examples of these include stores, shopping centres, restaurants, warehouses, schools, hospitals etc. They are not meant for people to live in.
