CHIEF OJIMBA FLAGS OFF CHIPPINGS SELLERS MOVEMENT, UNVEILS 100 SCHOLARSHIPS FOR INDIGENT STUDENTS
History was made today as the fast-growing and widely embraced Chippings Sellers Movement (CSM) was officially flagged off by the Chairman/CEO of Ojimba Group and the APGA candidate for Ebonyi North Senatorial District, High Chief Chikaodili Ojimba.
The historic event, held on Tue, 14th July, 2025, attracted people from different walks of life who gathered with a shared vision and commitment to building a movement founded on unity, empowerment, and sustainable development across Ebonyi North and beyond.
While officially declaring the movement open, High Chief Chikaodili Ojimba emphasized that the Chippings Sellers Movement is not merely a political platform but a people-driven movement dedicated to touching lives, creating opportunities, and restoring hope to ordinary citizens.
As part of the official flag-off, High Chief Ojimba announced 100 educational scholarships for indigent students across Ebonyi North. The scholarships will be distributed as follows:
~ Izzi LGA – 20 students
~ Abakaliki LGA – 20 students
~ Ebonyi LGA – 20 students
~Ohaukwu LGA – 20 students
~Abakaliki Urban – 20 students
He directed the national representatives of each area to submit the names of qualified beneficiaries within seven working days for immediate processing and payment of the scholarships.
High Chief Ojimba made it clear that only genuinely indigent students who cannot afford to pay their school fees should be nominated, stressing that the initiative is aimed at ensuring that financial hardship does not deprive any deserving child of quality education.
In his address, he further stated:
“This movement is for the people. We are here to create opportunities, support education, empower our youths, and give hope to those who have been neglected. The scholarship programme is only the beginning. After meeting with the Board of Trustees (BOT) and other critical stakeholders, additional structures of the movement will be unveiled across all the Local Government Areas that make up Ebonyi North. Within a very short time, the Chippings Sellers Movement will have functional structures across every Local Government Area in Ebonyi State.”
High Chief Ojimba also revealed that the Chippings Sellers Movement has been officially registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC), giving it legal recognition as an organized body. He disclosed that the official unveiling of the movement’s CAC registration certificate and other statutory documents will take place soon, describing it as another significant milestone that will further strengthen the credibility, structure, and long-term vision of the movement.

~ Hon Emeka Obiya – Ebonyi LGA
~ Hon Charles Alieze – Ohaukwu LGA
~ Hon Kingsley Obasi – Abakaliki Urban
Speaking on behalf of the National Body, Hon. Emeka Obiya expressed their collective readiness to work together with dedication and unity to achieve the objectives of the Chippings Sellers Movement. He also assured High Chief Chikaodili Ojimba that the scholarship programme would be implemented with the highest level of transparency, fairness, and accountability, ensuring that only genuinely indigent students benefit from the initiative.
Chief Ojimba charged all the leadership and representatives to immediately commence grassroots mobilization, coordinate the scholarship nomination process, and strengthen the movement within their respective areas.
The flag-off ceremony ended with excitement, renewed hope, and a firm commitment from members and supporters to expand the Chippings Sellers Movement across Ebonyi State, with many describing it as one of the fastest-growing grassroots movements in recent times.
