Ownership is not the same as wealth.

One of the most common mistakes I see is people rushing to buy a house too early not because it’s strategic, but because it feels like progress.

But in wealth building, timing is everything.

When you commit a large portion of your capital into an asset that does not produce income, you don’t just buy a house…

You reduce your ability to multiply that capital.

Serious investors think differently.

They focus first on building assets that generate cashflow and appreciate over time so that when they eventually acquire lifestyle assets, it’s done from a position of strength, not pressure.

So the question isn’t just “Can I afford to buy a house?”

It’s:
“Is this the right stage of my wealth journey to do so?”

Would you rather:

A. Buy a house early and own it
OR
B. Build income-generating assets first… then buy without pressure?

This is not something people like to talk about…

But it needs to be said.
