Hospitality Manager Vacancy!!!
Our client, with an exclusive modern apartment (complex) in Maitama, Abuja, that provides a total luxurious experience to their guests, is seeking a professional and customer-focused HOSPITALITY MANAGER to oversee the apartment's operations.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee all employees including receptionists, gym staff, kitchen staff, and office employees.
• Monitor employee performance and conduct regular evaluations to help improve customer service.
• Collect payments and maintain records of budgets, funds, and expenses.
• Welcome and register guests once they arrive.
• Resolve issues regarding apartment services, amenities, and policies.
• Organize and coordinate operations to ensure maximum efficiency
• Organize activities and assign responsibilities to employees to ensure productivity.
• Create and apply a marketing strategy to promote the apartment’s services and amenities.
• Coordinate with external parties including suppliers, travel agencies, and conference planners.
• Ensure supplies and equipment are adequate in quantity and quality
• Evaluate apartment performance and ensure compliance with health and safety rules.
• Partake in financial activities including establishing room rates, setting budgets, and assigning funds to departments.
• Assume responsibility of budgeting and monitoring expenses
• Hire qualified personnel according to standards
• Supervise and evaluate staff
• Enforce adherence to regulations and quality standards
• Ensure all records are kept properly and consistently
• Review and prepare reports for senior management
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, business administration or relevant field.
• A minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in hospitality management or similar role.
• Strong understanding of hotel management best practices and data entry software.
• Outstanding interpersonal communication and customer service skills.
• Exceptional organizational and leadership abilities with great attention to detail.
• Proven experience as hospitality manager
• Hands-on experience in customer service or sales
• Solid understanding of hospitality procedures and best practices
• Knowledge of quality standards (e.g. ISO)
• Proficient in MS Office and relevant software (e.g. ERP)
• Outstanding communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
• Problem-solving aptitude
