On Wednesday, 5th August 2026, the Chairman of Esthington Group of Companies, Engr. Dr. Darlington Ugota, paid a Leadership, Familiarisation and Performance Tour to the headquarters of Champions Properties Ltd in Jabi, Abuja.

During the visit, he met with the management and staff, sharing practical insights on leadership, customer service, teamwork, accountability, and business growth.

Speaking to the team, he reminded them that **sales are the lifeblood of every business**, and every customer should be treated with respect, patience, and professionalism. He emphasized that great customer relationships are built long after a sale is made, encouraging staff to stay in touch with clients, keep their promises, and build trust through consistent communication.

He also challenged the team to make better use of their existing network instead of constantly searching for new contacts. According to him, every contact is a potential relationship, and every relationship, when nurtured well, can become a lasting business opportunity.

Addressing the importance of personal branding, the Chairman encouraged staff to confidently represent the real estate profession with pride, reminding them that there is dignity in honest work. During his visit, he shared practical words of encouragement with the leadership and staff, speaking not just as a chairman but as a father and mentor.

He reminded everyone that true success starts with teamwork, diligence, accountability, and commitment. He encouraged staff to work together, take ownership of their responsibilities, and always give their best.

He also stressed the importance of professionalism. According to him, how you dress, speak, and present yourself shapes how clients see you. First impressions matter, so every interaction should reflect excellence and respect.

Speaking on client relationships, he advised the team to be intentional in their communication. Rather than sending random messages, they should organise their contacts, understand their audience, and share information that is relevant and valuable. He also reminded everyone to be mindful of what they post on their social media timelines and status updates because people often judge character through online behaviour, and one careless post could cost a valuable opportunity.
