There’s a power in the word "No." 🤍
A while back, I walked away from a deal that would have put a very nice commission in my pocket.
The property looked great, the brochures were glossy, and the pressure to sell was high. But my gut—and my due diligence process—said: “Blessing, don't do it.”
I had to tell my client: “I won’t facilitate this purchase. The documentation isn't clean enough to guarantee your peace of mind.”
I remember the silence on the other end of the phone. I thought I’d lost a client forever.
Instead, that client called me back weeks later. They said: “Thank you. I realized you were the only person who put my interest before your profit.”
That is the Real Estate Duchess standard. 👑
Real estate isn’t just about selling houses; it’s about protecting the dreams and generations that will live in those homes. If the deal isn't safe for you, it isn't worth my commission.
