The Property market is no longer only about finding a place to live but also about making investments.
the higher focus on residential properties in Abuja is increasing on daily basis and this is as a result of the demand in the property market. people relocate to Abuja on daily basis from different parts of the world and the country itself and even those who live outside the country invest in the Abuja Real Estate market because the investment return is higher and faster here. A lot of people want to have roofs over their heads and those who already have houses want to invest. today there's no place referd to as bush in abuja, because even in those so called bushes people pay huge amount annually to keep roof over their heads.
There are many satelite towns that people call suburbs and many out of ignorance do not know how much they can realise from the real estate hub in these suburbs, for 'instance' a plot of land in the developed part of kubwa sells between N15,000,000 to N30,000,000 and 3bedroom flat in kubwa goes between N800,000 to N1,000,000. now in this same kubwa you can still buy a land less than N6,000,000 etc...places like F01, IJA etc
Now imagine how much you can be realising annually if you have 6 units of 3 bedroom flat in this satelite town called kubwa. this is applicable to many other districts we call satelite towns here in Abuja, but the well informed and acquainted people sit in their offices and be making good returns in the real estate investments they have made.
Many people out of ignorance do not know that their few thousands and few millions that they term(small money,cannot buy a land) can buy them genuine and certified federal capital developement agency(FCDA) plots in Abuja. these kind of plots are always available for you to buy and keep them and wait for a while # one day the government will remember to do infrastrstructure in the places and it will no longer be that cheap plot you bought years ago. we often times spend this few thousands and few millions in some transient frivolities, but a genuine land bought in the bush will one day be a developed land no more bush.
You must not build a house too before you can start making money from the vast Abuja real estate market, some people buy lands and wait for few months and put back in the market and make good returns, people sometimes wonder how this magic happens. the simple answer is, it is because the rent in Abuja is so high that when some one buys a land he gives testimony in the church, so in Abuja the first landmark achievement anybody make s is buying a land and these lands are being sold by people, so who are the people selling these lands??? you or i... the truth is that at every level you find yourself Rich, middle class, lower class etc...just buy a property that matches your affordability, many other people of your class are looking for that property you have.
