The high rate of requests I’ve gotten for shortlet apartments since Thursday has been CRAZY.

Even the apartments I manage directly got fully booked and I’m not talking about a few days ooh. I mean MONTHS.

“Ember” months are usually our rush season, but this year feels different.

The Short-Term Rental space is taking on a whole new dimension in Abuja, and landlords are really milking it, especially in prime areas like Jahi.

The apartment we’re currently setting up? We paid ₦14.5M for just 3 bedrooms.

And we’re still renovating because we don’t do “normal” with our apartments. We changed the bathroom wares, upgraded the lighting, worked on the finishing… OMG.

I honestly can’t wait for the housewarming. I’m inviting a few guests and some of our agents, and I’ll definitely share pictures here so you can see the amount of work we put into this place.

We will recover that investment AND still make serious profit from the property.

This is why I keep saying that hospitality specifically Short-Term Rentals is another form of Real Estate Investment worth paying attention to right now in Abuja.
