WE ARE CONTESTANTS, NOT ENEMIES

Today, I warmly congratulate my brother and friend, Dr. Ejike Alumona, on his reported emergence as the flag bearer of the NDC for the House of Representatives, Igbo Eze North/Udenu Federal Constituency. I wish him every success as he carries the banner of his party.

As for me, I remain the duly nominated Labour Party candidate, fully committed to this race and more determined than ever to earn the mandate of our people on 16th January, 2027.

Many of you know that I was prepared to step aside in the interest of unity, brotherhood and our collective aspiration. I made that sacrifice willingly because I believed the cause was bigger than any individual. If there was ever anyone expected to reciprocate such a gesture, common fairness would suggest it should have come in return because one good turn truly deserves another.

However, politics is ultimately about personal convictions and the freedom to pursue them. My brother has made his choice, and I sincerely respect it. I have equally made mine, to remain in this race and present my vision to the good people of Igbo Eze North/Udenu Federal Constituency until they deliver their verdict at the polls.

This election is not a battle between enemies. It is a contest of ideas, competence, character, capacity and vision.

Dr. Ejike Alumona remains my friend. Johnson Ogbugo, the PDP candidate, is equally our brother. We all come from the same Ozzii extraction, and no election should destroy relationships that will outlive politics. By God’s grace, when this election is over, we shall still greet one another as brothers, work together as brothers and continue pursuing the development of our constituency.

To all my supporters, I have one sincere appeal. Campaign vigorously, but with dignity. Persuade with facts, not insults. Win votes, not enemies. Let us prove that politics can be fiercely competitive without becoming bitter or divisive.

Our campaign is not built on attacking personalities. It is built on a clear vision for quality representation, economic empowerment for our youths, improved infrastructure, quality education, enhanced security and a stronger voice for Igbo Eze North/Udenu in the National Assembly.

I ask for your continued prayers, your unwavering support and, ultimately, your vote.

On 16th January, 2027, let the ballot speak. Let the people freely choose the candidate they believe is best prepared to represent them.

I have absolute faith in the wisdom of our people. I believe our vision, our competence, our track record and our commitment will earn their confidence.

A WORD TO THE LABOUR FAMILY

Permit me to speak from the depths of my heart.

The Labour Party is the political mother that gave birth to many of today’s candidates across the APC, NDC and PDP. History bears witness to that.

Like a mother who has lost her husband and watched many of her children leave home, she may appear lonely today. But motherhood is not measured by how many children remain under her roof. It is measured by the pains of childbirth, the sacrifices she made and the foundation she laid. A mother will always remain a mother.

Today, many of her children wear different political colours. That is democracy, and we respect their choices. However, no matter how far a child travels, the place of birth can never be erased from history.

By the grace of God, I pray that our victory on 16th January, 2027, will not only bring quality representation to the good people of Igbo Eze North/Udenu Federal Constituency, but will also mark the rebirth of the Labour Party in our constituency and beyond.

May our victory rekindle hope. May it inspire many of our brothers and sisters to return home, not because they failed elsewhere, but because they have rediscovered the values of justice, equity, selfless service and people centred leadership.

The Labour Party remains home. Home never rejects its children. Home always leaves the light on. Home always has room for every child who chooses to return.

To every candidate and every supporter of every political party, my hand remains extended in friendship. However, to the people of Igbo Eze North/Udenu, I make this solemn promise.

I will campaign with honour.
I will lead with integrity.
I will serve with courage.

Together, let us write a new chapter.
Together, let us restore hope.

Together, let us build the Igbo Eze North/Udenu Federal Constituency our children will be proud to inherit.

On 16th January, 2027, vote Chinedu Eya. Vote Labour Party. Vote for competence. Vote for unity. Vote for purposeful representation.

Our resolve is unshaken.
Our hope is alive.
Our journey has only just begun.

God bless Igbo Eze North.
God bless Udenu.
God bless Enugu State.
God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Chinedu Eya
Labour Party Candidate
House of Representatives, Igbo Eze North/Udenu Federal Constituency

THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN OUR FIRST BUYERS AND THOSE WHO WAITED IS MILLIONS OF NAIRA.

Many people looked at our estates and said, “It’s too bushy” or “It can’t be real.” They waited. Our early buyers didn’t.

From 2017 till date (2026), our track record has remained spotless. No fake lands. No broken promises. Just genuine investments with remarkable appreciation.

Now, it’s happening again with two pre-launch estates: Lumina Estate and Naya’s Residence Phase 3.

When the track record is clean, the appreciation is unimaginable.

Same Name. Same Brand. Same Integrity. Same Results.

Don’t let today’s pre-launch price become tomorrow’s regret. Invest with competence. Invest with a proven track record.

“Fellow citizens, I have just seen a deeply troubling video of electoral malpractice in yesterday’s election. I want to be crystal clear: if such actions were involved in my rise to power, I will not assume that office. I will stand for integrity, fairness, and the will of the people. I call for a full investigation, and I urge us all to safeguard the sanctity of our democracy.”

Happy Democracy Day from My Eya Homes 🇳🇬

As we celebrate Democracy Day today, our hearts are also with the many Nigerians going through difficult times. Across the country, families are struggling with insecurity, hardship, hunger, and the rising cost of living. Many people wake up every day worried about their safety, their businesses, and how they will provide for their loved ones. These are not easy times for our nation. Too many dreams have been put on hold, too many lives have been affected, and too many people are carrying burdens that no one should have to carry alone.
But despite everything, Nigerians continue to show strength, resilience, and hope. We keep pushing forward, believing that better days are ahead. We believe in a Nigeria where people can live in peace, feel safe in their communities, and have the opportunity to build a better future for themselves and their families.

Today, we pray for peace, security, and progress in our nation. May our leaders be guided by wisdom, and may every Nigerian have a reason to hope again.

Happy Democracy Day,Nigerians.🇳🇬

There was a phase in our lives when we deliberately left the comfort of parental care to face the wider world in search of opportunities and exploits.

In those days, survival required strategy. One of the strategies we adopted was deliberately building friendships with food vendors. Akara (Kwose) sellers, roasted plantain (Bole) vendors, Masa sellers, and roadside food operators became some of our most valuable acquaintances.

Our reason was simple: access to food on credit. Feeding money was often in very short supply, and sometimes completely unavailable. Because every vendor had a limit to the amount of credit they could extend, we often moved from one food spot to another. Once we exhausted our credit in one place, we looked for another. There were even times when we had maxed out everywhere and had no option but to stay hungry, hoping that one or two kind-hearted Egbon on the street would help soften the situation.

The truth is that we survived on food credit. We ate Akara (Kwose) on credit. We ate Bole on credit. We depended on relationships and goodwill to get through some very difficult days.

What makes the story worth telling is that we never intended for that season to become our permanent reality. We consciously and deliberately worked to change it. Through resilience, persistence, and a resolute commitment to upward progress, we gradually transformed our circumstances.

Today, we look back on those experiences not with embarrassment but with appreciation. They remind us that humble beginnings do not determine one’s destination. Sometimes, the very struggles that test us the most become the foundation upon which our greatest victories are built.

To my dear people of Udenu/Igbo Eze North Federal Constituency,

After deep consultations and careful consideration of recent developments surrounding the primary processes across APC, ADC, and NDC, we have decided to take a new political direction, which will officially be communicated to our people before 12 noon on Monday, 18th May 2026.

This decision was not made out of weakness or retreat, but out of wisdom, clarity, and commitment to the greater interest of our constituency. My mission has always remained the same: to ensure that the voice of our people is strongly represented and that real development, empowerment, and opportunities reach every corner of our federal constituency.

I firmly believe that my presence on the ballot, and ultimately in the Green Chamber, will bring meaningful impact to our people and positively transform many lives. Therefore, let it be clearly understood that I am not out of the race. Rather, we are strategically repositioning for a stronger and more purposeful movement ahead.

I sincerely appreciate the overwhelming support, encouragement, and confidence our people have continued to show. The journey continues, and together, we will build a future that truly represents the hopes and aspirations of Udenu and Igbo Eze North.

Thank you, and remain blessed.
