I ONLY NEEDED 7 PERCENT BLOOD

That was all God needed to bring me into this world.

Many years ago, as I was told, a woman living with sickle cell was almost at the point of death while in labour. She was being rushed in an ambulance, but there was a major problem only 7 percent blood remained in her body.

That amount of blood was not considered enough for her to safely give birth to the child she carried.

She was taken from one hospital to another. The first hospital rejected her. The second did the same. The third, and many others across Kano State, could not accept her.

The question was:

“How do you expect us to help her give birth with only 7 percent blood?”

Even the ambulance could not move at its usual emergency speed, because the slightest mistake could cost her life.

But what they didn't know was that 7 percent was all God needed.

On that faithful day, September 26th, against all odds, a LEGEND was born through a woman with only 7 PERCENT BLOOD in her body.

And that legend is…

ME. ❤️‍🔥

Today, I don't just celebrate another birthday.
I celebrate LIFE.
I celebrate GRACE.
I celebrate GOD'S MERCY.
I celebrate the fact that what looked impossible to man was never impossible with God.

If I was born when 7 percent was enough, then I know that God has a purpose for my life.
