Day 2 at the Delta State Economic & Investment Summit 2026
I had the privilege of attending the Delta State Economic & Investment Summit 2026, where government leaders, private sector stakeholders, investors, entrepreneurs, and other participants came together to discuss the future of investment and economic growth in Delta State.
One message stood out throughout the summit: partnership is key. Sustainable economic growth cannot be driven by the government alone. The private sector, investors, and entrepreneurs all have important roles to play in unlocking opportunities, creating jobs, and attracting investments.
A few key takeaways from today ( day2):
Delta State is strategically positioned as a maritime hub, with four ports that give the state an advantage for trade, logistics, and industrial development.
The proposed Delta Coastal Way has the potential to improve connectivity and create more economic opportunities.
The focus is on building the right structures and creating an enabling environment where local and international investors, businesses, and entrepreneurs can thrive.
As someone in the real estate sector, it was encouraging to see these conversations because infrastructure, investment, and economic development often influence the growth and value of property markets.
A promising future begins with vision, collaboration, and action.
