*TODAY'S GOSPEL*

Yesterday, I read about a pastor’s daughter whose s*x video went viral on Twitter.
The post I read, had a clip of her singing during a church program.
In the comments were people mocking her and calling her a ‘hypocrite.’
Moot point, really. But very expected.

Now, I’ve shared my thoughts in the past about sending n**e photos/ videos.
I’ll do so again - especially for the young, impressionable adults who would read this.

No man who wholly loves you, would ask that you send him your n**es.

THERE IS NO JUSTIFICATION FOR SENDING NUDES TO YOUR PARTNER.

This includes your husband.

This includes your long-distance lover.

This includes your boyfriend who is missing you and needs something to make him feel better.

In fact, you are not very smart, if there is a reason good enough for you to send n**es.

Unless you are a pornstar or n**es trader, once your pornographic material leaves your possession, it becomes a potential weapon.
A weapon that can be used against you.

The moment you share your unclad or s*xually inappropriate photos or videos with someone else, you are unwittingly signing off exclusive rights to such content.

Oh, you can also be screen-recorded while naked - just FYI.

Having naked images or s*x tapes of you all over the internet, is enough to change the trajectory of your life and ruin your prospective opportunities.
There are certain positions you will never hold, if your n**es ever make it to the public.
But if you’re not an ambitious person, by all means, carry on.

Now, this conversation is not about trust.
It’s about self-preservation and common sense.

You may trust your partner and they may have no ill intentions towards you.
But what if their phone gets stolen?
What if someone close to them gets into their device?

Also, what if they feel differently about you in future and decide to shame you?
You know, to teach you a lesson or blackmail you - for whatever reason.

Many women would not trust a man enough to have a joint account with him or give him access to their investments, but would trust him with their naked photos and s*x videos.
Please, make this make sense!

While being drunk in lust, remember that we have no working laws that protect victims of revenge po*******hy.
So, you cannot at least get compensation or justice.

If you decide to be foolhardy and share your n**es, well, make sure you have theirs in your possession before sending yours.
Of course, we know that your request will not be granted.
And assuming it is, that is not enough guarantee to prevent your breasts and va**na from littering the internet.
I mean, even if you retaliate, men always get a free pass when it comes to s*x.
You’ll be the one whom the public will slutshame and embarass from here to Timbuktu, at every turn.

I’m yet to read or hear about men whose s*x tapes or n**es were leaked online - without their consent.
If there are any such stories, I am very certain that they are few and far between.

You know why?
No man would ever knowingly put themselves in a position of helpless vulnerability.

Listen: No n**es, no problems.

Preserve yourself, sis. Or not. ✌🏼

The confrontation between Senator Onyekachi Nwebonyi and Madam Oby Ezekwesili raises several important considerations—hierarchy, gender, position, and age. While Madam Ezekwesili may have first used the word “shut up,” the real issue lies in the aggressive reaction of Senator Nwebonyi, who escalated the situation with disrespectful and derogatory language.

In the context of hierarchy and position, Senator Nwebonyi holds a formal role in the Senate, but Madam Ezekwesili is a respected senior citizen and former minister. This alone calls for restraint and decorum. However, gender also plays a critical role, as Nwebonyi’s response seemed to suggest a dismissive attitude toward women in positions of influence, reinforcing a perception of male dominance in Nigerian politics.

Age and cultural values should not be overlooked. Madam Ezekwesili is older and should have been addressed with respect, especially given that both are from Igbo land, where respect for elders is deeply ingrained. Furthermore, as a Red Cap Chief, Senator Nwebonyi's conduct was unbecoming, as Igbo tradition upholds dignity and measured speech, especially among titled men.

In the end, this issue is not just about who spoke first but about the expectations of leadership, cultural respect, and gender equity in governance.
