30 Days Cybersecurity Challenge – Day 3 (TS Academy Cybersecurity Cohort)
Today, I gained a deeper understanding of the overall cybersecurity learning pathway and the different career opportunities available in the field.
One of the key lessons from today's session was that cybersecurity is a broad industry with several specialized domains. The program is structured to take students from beginner level to intermediate level over the next few months, covering essential areas such as:

🔹 Security Operations Center (SOC) Operations
🔹 Ethical Hacking & Vulnerability Management
🔹 Cloud Security & Identity Management
🔹 Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC)
🔹 Capstone Projects & Career Planning
I also learned about various cybersecurity career paths, including:

Another important takeaway was the significance of ethics in cybersecurity. Cybersecurity professionals are expected to use their knowledge responsibly and legally, helping organizations protect their systems rather than exploiting them.
We were encouraged to build publicly by sharing our learning journey, connect with accountability partners, and consistently practice what we learn. Success in cybersecurity requires dedication, continuous learning, and hands-on experience.
Day 3 has strengthened my understanding of the cybersecurity landscape and the opportunities that lie ahead. I'm excited to continue learning and developing practical skills throughout this challenge.
