FG Should Do More — President Tinubu’s Daughter, Folashade, Urges Swift Rescue of Abd¥cted Schoolchildren and Teachers.

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s daughter and Iyaloja-General of Nigeria, Folashade Tinubu-Ojo, has urged the Federal and State Governments to intensify efforts toward securing the release of the abducted schoolchildren and their teachers.

Speaking during a condolence visit to the Soun of Ogbomoso, Oba Ghandi Afolabi Olaoye, Tinubu-Ojo acknowledged the efforts already being made by the authorities but stressed that more needed to be done.

“I know that the Federal Government and the State Government are working fervently to secure the release of these children and their teachers, but they should do more,” she said.

She also called on residents to remain vigilant and cooperate with security agencies by reporting suspicious individuals or activities in their communities, urging them to speak up whenever they notice unfamiliar faces or unusual signs around their environment.

Police Rescue Ex-Minister Adelabu’s Sister and Twin Sons, K+ll Two Suspected K+dn@ppers During Operation.

Operatives of the Nigeria Police Force have rescued Mrs. Olaide Busayo Adegoke John-Paul, the younger sister of former Minister of Power and APC governorship aspirant in Oyo State, Chief Adebayo Adelabu, alongside her 12-year-old twin sons, Peter and Paul, after a late-night operation that resulted in a g¥n duel with suspected kidn@ppers.

Security sources said the victims were rescued alive at about 7:30pm on Saturday, June 6, 2026, three days after they were abducted while on their way to school in Ibadan.

During the operation, two suspected kidn@ppers were k+lled in an exchange of g¥nfire, while two fi****ms were recovered from the gang.
