A property can look like a great investment and still become a very expensive mistake.
I came across a story about a woman who saved for years to buy land. She found what seemed like a good deal, was shown documents, trusted the seller and paid about ₦7.5 million.
Later, she discovered serious issues with the property's documentation and ownership.
₦7.5 million. Gone.
It made me ask:
Did she fail to do her homework, or did she simply not know what needed to be verified?
That's the problem many property buyers face.
Documents can exist and still have issues.
A convincing seller isn't proof.
A good location isn't proof.
Verify before you pay.
