If you're a guy starting up in life, please read this slowly. I'm talking to you like a brother, not like a motivational speaker.
Sometimes I sit alone and wonder if I have a good heart or if I just care too much. Because being kind in this world feels dañğèrous.
You give your best, you stay loyal, you show love, and still you get disappointed. Life taught me that having a good heart is not the problem.
Giving it to the wrong people is. So don't change your heart, just change who has access to it.
As a man growing up, time is not your friend. Every day you waste is adding weight to your future. You're not "too young", you're just early. And being early only helps if you're building something. Life will not wait for you to be okay. Wake up every day and keep pushing, even when you're tired, even when you feel lost. Nobody is coming to save you.
Cry if you need to, feel frustrated if you must, but never give up. You don't have many options other than grinding.
Stop chasing women who won't cry at your funeral.
Love without direction will drain you. Don't run after attention, affection, or bare minimum love. You disrespect yourself when you beg for things that should come naturally. A woman who truly loves you won't stress you. She won't hide you. She won't compete with other men for attention.
She'll want to build with you, not drain you. Until then, focus on yourself. Make money first. Build your life first. Grow with someone who wants to grow with you, not someone who only wants what you have.
Your 20s are not for flexing wealth. They are for building skills, discipline, and character. The kind of skills that will one day change your family's story.
Avoid debt, because debt turns a man into a slave.
Save even if it's small. Learn how to manage money when you don't have much, because that habit will save you when you have more.
Alcohol won't solve your problems. If you drink because of pain, understand this... when it wipes off your face, your problems will still be there waiting for you. Ma********on, drugs, gambling, and constant partying don't destroy you in one day, they drain you slowly. You lose focus, hunger, and self-respect.
Quitting is hard, falling is real, but getting back up is strength.
Be careful who you call a friend. Some people smile with you today and secretly hope you fail tomorrow.
Bad influences will teach you the wrong way and disappear when hard times come. Move quietly. Life is better when not everyone knows your plans.
Privacy is luxury. Peace comes when you mind your business.
Never force anyone to choose you. People make time for who they value. Take people for who they are, not who you want them to be. Everyone will show you who they are... just give them time. Learn to master your emotions. A calm man can handle any situation.
Too much talking brings mistakes. Silence will protect you.
Don't take advice from people who are not where you want to be in life. Free yourself from society's noise... most people don't even know what they're doing. If you don't work to build your own dream, someone will hire you and use your life to build theirs.
Bro to bro, I don't know the battles you're fighting in silence. The pressure, the fear, the nights you stayed awake thinking. But I pray God never forget every first born, every young man, every hustler trying to make it. Some of us hustle with no hope... only faith.
And that faith will not shame us.
Promise me one thing, bro. Never let that dream die.
One day, you'll stand in places you once prayed for and thank yourself for not quitting. I got you. ゚
