The security challenges facing Nigeria are alarming, and it's clear that allowing individuals with questionable integrity to handle the country's armory has led to devastating consequences.

Nigeria's strength lies in its diversity, and it's crucial that we put aside ethnic and religious differences to work towards a common goal of peace and stability. The security situation is complex and multifaceted, requiring a combination of strategic thinking and collective effort to resolve.

The problems go beyond the capabilities of the Nigerian Army alone; they're deeply rooted in politics and a lack of accountability. Some individuals have recklessly allowed external interference, compromising national security for personal gain.

It's imperative that Nigerians come together to address these challenges and develop a comprehensive plan to tackle them. Those who've benefited from the status quo must be held accountable and work towards finding solutions.

Innocent lives are being lost daily, and it's clear that the system is overwhelmed. Corruption has crippled internal security efforts, making it challenging to trust even those meant to protect us.

- *Military Intervention*: The Nigerian military's primary role is to defend the country from external threats, maintain territorial integrity, and secure borders. They can only intervene in civil matters under specific conditions and with a Presidential directive.
- *Land Ownership*: The Land Use Act states that land ownership belongs to the Governor of the State, or in this case, the Minister of the FCT (Nyesom Wike).
- *Land Disputes*: These are civil cases, and the police can only intervene if a crime is committed, such as fighting.
- *Unlawful Intervention*: Military officers intervening in non-military land disputes is unlawful and an abuse of power.

In essence, the military officer involved and whoever authorized the intervention may face punishment for acting outside their jurisdiction. Land disputes should be handled through civil channels, not military intervention.
