JUDGE: Why did you take the law into your own hands?
DEFENDANT: My Lord, I did not take the law into my hands. I only recovered items from him because he owed me money.
JUDGE: Recovered items? Who authorized you to do so? And why did you go there with a group of men?
DEFENDANT: My Lord, he borrowed ₦300,000 from me in July last year. Since then, I have repeatedly asked him to repay me. Each time, he would promise “today” or “tomorrow,” but he never paid. Out of frustration, I called some friends and went to his house. I collected his two mobile phones and his motorcycle as security for the debt.
COMPLAINANT: My Lord, as my lawyer earlier stated, my livelihood depends on my phone. All my business contacts and transactions are stored there. I pleaded with him to give me until Monday to pay, but he refused. I eventually raised the money and transferred it to him. However, instead of returning my phone, he claimed it was missing. All my business information was inside that phone. I had no choice but to seek legal redress.

ADVISE TO CIVIL SERVANTS

1. Build a house earlier. Whether rural house or urban house. Building a house at 50 is not a feat. Don't get used to government homes. This comfort is so dangerous. Let your whole family have a good time in your home.

2. Go home. Don't stay at work all year round. You are not the pillar of your department. If you fall dead today, you will be replaced immediately and operations will continue. Make your family a priority.

3. Do not run after promotions. Master your skills and be excellent in what you do. If they want to promote you, it's good if they don't, stay positive for your personal development.

4. Avoid office or work gossip. Avoid things that tarnish your name or reputation. Do not join the moving train that bites your bosses and colleagues. Get away from negative gatherings that have only people as a program.

5. Never compete with your bosses. You will burn your fingers. Don't compete with your colleagues, you're going to grill your brain.

6. Make sure you have a secondary activity. Your salary will not support your long-term needs.

7. Save money. That it is automatically deducted from your pay slip.

8. Borrow a loan to invest in a business or to change a situation not to buy luxury. Buy luxury with your profit.

9. Keep your life, your family private. Let them stay away from work. It is very important.

10. Be loyal to yourself and believe in your work. Staying around your boss will alienate you from your colleagues and your boss could finally drop you when he leaves.

11. Retire early. The best way to plan your outing was when you received the job letter. The other best time is today. From 40 to 50 years old, be outside.

12. Join well-being at work and always be an active member. This will help you a lot when a possibility occurs.

13. Take days off, use them by developing your future home or your projects. Generally, what you do during your days off is a reflection of the way you live after your retirement.

Volkswagen of Nigeria Ltd was established on 7th February 1973 in Ojo, Lagos.

Years after of the establishment between 1981 - 1984 in Uruagu, Nnewi. Mr Chibuzor was well known in his town, because he was the best auto mechanic around. he specialized in the iconic and beloved Volks Wagen Beetle. in those days, the Volks Wagen Beetle was everywhere even university students were able to afford one and along with the Peugeot 504, they were the cars of the average family. Mr Chibuzor specialized in the Volks Wagen Beetle to the extent that he had no competition. everyone in town knew that if it's a Volks Wagen Beetle, you only go to Mr Chibuzor. as the years went by, Mr Chibuzor not only became popular, but also wealthy. he had many boys that worked for him. times were great in country and no one ever foresaw the economic disaster that was just around the corner.

Anyway, Mr Chibuzor saw no reason to worry. even though he began to notice that some cars called Japanese were coming into town. as far as Chibuzor was concerned, they were flimsy cars and won't last. in fact he use to joke with his friends that the new Japanese cars were made of plastic. but then certain unforeseen events began to unfold. first came the first ever fuel shortage in the country. as prices of fuel increased, many people discovered the fuel efficiency of these Japanese cars. the economy also started tightening and getting worse, so it became more easier to buy the Japanese cars. Chibuzor don't understand all the macroeconomic changes happening, but definitely, he saw the rapid increase in the number of Japanese cars. even his boys began leaving one after another, as they searched for other masters who worked on Japanese cars. but Chibuzor wasn't moved. he believed that all these were temporary and that eventually, people will come back to their senses and return to the old reliable and beloved Volks Wagen Beetle. unfortunately, as the years went by, things didn't get better. soon Chibuzor's mechanic shop became empty. Chibuzor can be seen playing draft all day long. gradually, everyone forgot about the once popular and promising young man and eventually, when he could no longer support himself. he quietly packed up and returned to his village

Sometimes, they may even pay small returns to start with, to sweeten the deal and trick you into investing more of your money.
