ERCAAN Strengthens Ties with Kwara State Housing Corporation to Enhance Real Estate Practice
In a bid to further solidify its collaboration with the Kwara State Housing Corporation, the Estate Rent Commission Agents Association of Nigeria (ERCAAN), Kwara State Chapter, paid a strategic courtesy visit* to the corporation yesterday. The delegation, led by the State Chairman, Hon. Adewole Onibokun (EFA), alongside four other executives, engaged in high-level discussions aimed at fostering a more structured and professional real estate practice in the state.
The open-door meeting, presided over by the General Manager of the Kwara State Housing Corporation, ESV Ibrahim Ramat, alongside senior officials of the corporation, centered on enhancing regulatory compliance, streamlining property transactions, and facilitating the formal registration of ERCAAN members under the corporation.
In her address, the GM emphasized the importance of professionalism, ethical standards, and due diligence in the real estate sector. She encouraged ERCAAN members to uphold integrity in property transactions, stressing that a well-regulated real estate sector contributes significantly to urban development and economic stability. She also reaffirmed the corporationβs commitment to supporting ERCAAN in its mission to promote standard real estate practices across Kwara State.
Senior officials of the corporation provided insights into the agencyβs objectives, policies, and frameworks, underscoring how ERCAAN can complement government efforts in transforming Kwara State into a real estate investment hub. They also highlighted the numerous benefits of the collaboration, including access to verified property listings, legal protections for agents and clients, and increased opportunities for professional development.
The one-hour meeting, held between 1:00 PM and 2:00 PM, had a total of 12 participants in attendance. Both parties expressed optimism that the strengthened partnership will lead to a more structured, transparent, and investor-friendly real estate sector in Kwara State.
This engagement marks another milestone in ERCAANβs continued efforts to advance real estate professionalism, enhance regulatory adherence, and create a conducive environment for property transactions in the state.
