JUST IN: Kwara Police Command has invited suspected thugs and hoodlums who distrupted and attacked Kwara Central APC Women Leader Alhaja Tawa Agaka over the weekend.

The thugs, led by one Amuda Eleru, identified as members of PDP led by Bukola Saraki in Kwara State.

The group had attacked Alhaja Tawa, a relative of Kwara PDP guber candidate, Engr Kale Kawu during a political event on Saturday where she was canvassing for President Bola Tinubu, Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq and other APC candidates in Ilorin.

Following an outrage by Kwarans over the incident on social media, the police has begun investigations into the matter before taking further actions to ensure peace and security in the state.

There are heightened concerns about Kwara PDP’s history of political violence and thuggery which was particularly prevalent between 2003–2019 in Kwara State.
