KSDPC, ICPC Strengthen Partnership to Promote Transparency and Good Governance.
The Acting Managing Director of the Kaduna State Development and Property Company (KSDPC) Limited, QS. Isah Abdullahi, (FACPM, MNIQS, CPM, PPrM) , on Thursday led a delegation on a courtesy visit to the Kaduna State Office of the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC), as part of efforts to strengthen institutional collaboration and advance transparency, accountability and good governance.
Speaking during the visit, Isah Abdullahi described the ICPC as a critical partner in promoting integrity and ethical standards across public institutions. He noted that KSDPC, under its ongoing reform agenda, is committed to entrenching a culture of accountability, compliance with due process and corporate excellence, stressing that collaboration with the Commission would further reinforce the Company's drive towards efficient and transparent service delivery.
The Acting Managing Director further emphasized the importance of preventive anti-corruption measures, institutional capacity building and continuous stakeholder engagement in enhancing public confidence and ensuring sustainable organisational growth. He reaffirmed KSDPC's readiness to partner with the Commission in implementing initiatives that strengthen internal control systems, promote ethical leadership and improve institutional performance.
Responding, the Resident Anti-Corruption Commissioner of the ICPC, Kaduna State Office, Mr. Sakaba Ishaku, welcomed the KSDPC delegation and commended the Company's proactive approach to fostering strategic partnerships. He reiterated the Commission's commitment to supporting KSDPC through advisory services, capacity development, corruption prevention initiatives and integrity promotion programmes aimed at strengthening governance systems across public institutions in line with the reform agenda of of Governor Uba Sani' administration, especially in the areas of ease of doing business in the State.
The visit concluded with both organisations expressing their commitment to sustaining a productive working relationship that will promote transparency, accountability and institutional integrity, while contributing to the socio-economic development of Kaduna State through improved public sector governance.
