✨ Future Leaders Event – A Resounding Success! ✨

We are grateful to all the parents who allowed their children to be part of today’s Future Leaders Event. It was truly inspiring to see the enthusiasm and curiosity of our children as they explored different career paths.

Special appreciation goes to our amazing resource persons:

Dr. Muiz Bakare, DVM, MBA, MPH (CEO, Hasbil Farms & Foods Ltd), who made Veterinary Medicine exciting and rewarding. His generosity ensured every child went home with a pack of 12 eggs. 🥚✨

Engr. Jubril Akinwande, whose interactive session on Engineering sparked lively questions from the kids. He also kindly donated snacks to keep them energized.

Dr. Jamila Lawal, FWACS, who inspired the children to pursue Medicine and Surgery with her warmth and encouragement.

Mrs. Nana Idris, who spoke passionately on the importance of reading and gifted a tray of books to nurture a culture of learning.

Aliyu Bello, who stepped in on behalf of Suleiman U. Idatsu, FCA, delivering valuable insights on Accounting.

Mrs. Laura Emereole, who guided the children on values and ethics, reminding them of the importance of character.

We also thank Alhaji Nasir Anas, Chairman BoT USRAK, for his motivating welcome remarks, and our parents—Kamal Jino, Ibrahim Brah, and Lt. Col. Faruk Musa (Rtd)—who joined us to show support.

Every child left with a Values Pledge Card, committing to good behaviour, hard work, and obedience.

This event reflects our CSR commitment at Fama ADR, organised in conjunction with the Urban Shelter Resident Association, Kaduna, to empower our children with knowledge, values, and inspiration.

FAMA ADR is proud to announce the successful completion of the Mediation Skills Accreditation & Certification Course (2nd Edition) held 11th–15th August 2025 at Fama — The Place. Twenty-two (22) participants completed an intensive programme delivered by an outstanding faculty: Laura Bismarck Emereole, MICMC; Her Worship Dorcas Daniel, FICMC (Director, Kaduna Multidoor Courthouse); Awwal Teslim, MICMC; and Bukola Ajao (Chairperson, NBA Barnawa Branch).

The training was organised in conjunction with the Institute of Chartered Mediators and Conciliators (ICMC). Upon successful completion of the assessment, the trainees will be inducted as Associates of ICMC, recognising their competence and commitment to mediation practice.

This year’s trainees were energetic, engaged and committed, making the sessions highly interactive and impactful. We are grateful to Captain Abdulhakeem Bala Na’Allah (Majen Sakaba) for organising a memorable barbecue that capped the training in great spirit. Thank you to all the trainees and faculty for a cordial and transformative learning experience.

Titled “New Rules on Issuance, Offering Platforms, and Custody of Digital Assets”, The Securities and Exchange Commission has issued rules to govern the Cryptocurrrency and Digital assets industry. Viewed by many as a move by the commission to legalise the crypto business, the new set of rules is aimed as regulating and providing a sound foundation for this industry to thrive.
