π₯ WHAT HAPPENED TO NIGERIA NAIRA? β¦5,000 THEN COULD DO WHAT β¦500,000 CANβT DO TODAY!
My mother recently told me a story that made me stop and think.
There was a time when my grandparents collected β¦5,000 rent from one of their biggest shops in Akure, Ondo State. According to her, that money was enough to help them complete the ceiling of their building project in Lagos and they still had money left over.
Fast-forward to todayβ¦
That same property now generates about β¦500,000 in rent.
But can β¦500,000 today do what β¦5,000 did back then? π€
This raises a serious question:
Are we really getting richer, or are we simply dealing with bigger numbers while our purchasing power continues to fall?
In this video, we explore the story behind inflation, the falling purchasing power of the naira, real estate, wealth preservation and generational wealth.
Because there is a huge difference between having more money and having money that can do more.
π‘ Your money may increase in numbers while its purchasing power decreases.
π Your grandparents may have built with what looked like little money, but they were creating assets that could serve future generations.
The big question is:
What are you doing with the money you have today?
Are you consuming it, saving it, or converting some of it into productive assets that can potentially preserve and grow your wealth?

If you received β¦500,000 today, what would you do with it spend it, save it, start a business, buy land, invest, or build something?
