For more than a decade, Nigerians have been forced to live alongside bandits and terrorists, gradually becoming accustomed to horrors that should never be normal.
According to reports, including those from SBM Intelligence, nearly 2,000 children have been abducted since 2014, while close to 5,000 people are kidnapped every year. Yet, we all know these figures do not capture the countless cases that go unreported and undocumented.
The situation has worsened dramatically in the last three years. Reports suggest that the number of kidnappings recorded during this period exceeds the total from many previous years of our nation’s history.

We are not even halfway through 2026, yet tragedy continues to strike. The latest heartbreak is the reported abduction of 39 children between the ages of 2 and 16, along with 7 teachers, in Ogbomoso, Oyo State.

We were promised “Renewed Hope,” but many Nigerians feel abandoned by the silence and lack of urgency in addressing this crisis.

We do not deserve this.

Nigerians, it is time to rise and make our voices heard.

If you can pray, PRAY
If you can influence others, SPEAK UP
If you can organize or support peaceful protest, DO SO
If you can participate in politics and drive change, STEP FORWARD

Anything but SILENCE .

Nigeria is our HOME,and we must not accept a future where our people live in fear in their own country.
