MTN PARTNERS WITH LANDAFRIQUE TO DELIVER HIGH-SPEED INTERNET TO AGBARA ESTATE AND ASPIRE HOMES

In its continued commitment to enhancing broadband access and internet pe*******on nationwide, MTN Nigeria Communications Plc has entered into a partnership with Landafrique Nigeria Limited to deploy fibre-optic infrastructure connecting homes and businesses in the leading mixed-use industrial park in Sub Saharan Africa – Agbara Estate.

The agreement was signed at a formal ceremony held at MTN Nigeria’s Headquarters in Ikoyi on November 17, 2021, and had in attendance, MTN management led by the Chief Operating Officer, Mazen Mroue and Chief Enterprise Business Officer, Lynda Saint-Nwafor, as well as representatives from Landafrique Nigeria Limited, the Chief Executive Officer, Paulo Cruz and General Manager Sales, Philip Obih.

Commenting on the partnership, the Chief Operating Officer, MTN Nigeria, Mazen Mroue, said the technology allows for increased network performance, as well as higher speeds over a long distance. “At MTN, we believe that everyone deserves the benefits of a modern connected life. The installation of the MTN FibreNet Broadband in Agbara Estate will see to it that residents are always connected with incredible speeds, leading to increased performance either at work or at home.”

Paulo Cruz, the Chief Executive Officer of Landafrique, shared his excitement concerning the partnership by saying, “We are excited about this partnership and we have full confidence that our residents of the 454 Ha Agbara Estate will enjoy faster and more reliable network connectivity following the deployment of MTN’s fibre-optic infrastructure within the estate and as part of the Agbara 2.0 Vision, whereas the Aspire Homes will benefit directly from.”
