Let me tell you a story of this New Lagos I have been marketing and selling for the past 6 months.
Firstly i would start with letting you know that if you think Dangote is the only billionaire investing in Ibeju Lekki, you should wake up from your slumber because that rumour is untrue ,the numbers of investors are countless including Every major bank , Forte Oil,Sahara Oil, international buinesses like Tata and etc have secured lands in this location.
Then the story of appreciation in value ,Is it a stamped fact or just some marketing strategy?
Royal Haven started sales at about 550k per plot when it came out in October 2016 today it goes for 750k .(Not forgetting the promo that ended December 4th 2016 with came with a buy 5 get one free).
What about Lekki Royal-Garden with its CofO?, As at September 2016 ,it went for 2.5million Naira .I remember taking a client for inspection and he was negotiating it for 2.3million per plot .Today a plot is going unnegotiable at 4million naira.
Don't even get me started on Cherrywood court,Uptown Court WhiteOaks and a host of others that I came and met and have all doubled in value and are still doubling.
It would almost take a miracle to get a verifiable land at Ibeju Lekki with the lowest document costing you anything less than 700k naira compared to a time when 650 was a high price .
My point is, monthly appreciation is real and happening now and i am certain that even in the FCT and other parts of the country ,Land value is not getting this kind of pace in appreciation.
Some people would keep reading and ignoring or planning a forever plan that we would never come to past while others are calling ,purchasing and keep purchasing because unlike MMM ,this is no ponzi scheme and these clients are good forecasters and don't need to be told too much about The New Lagos.They are aware that "Lekki" didn't get this much attention when it was been sold out to the public .
