When we want to build a house in Nigeria, we need to involve professionals from the onset! Many people calling themselves engineers don’t even have any background study of any of the building professional courses!
There is no way someone who is not a doctor but have experience in giving people medical treatment can know more than a real doctor who had send like 6-10 years to study, same with professionals in the building industry!
Many people look at cost of paying professionals which is just about 5-10% of the cost we want to use to build and not looking at the value and rest of mind they will get.
Why do we pay 10 % as commission for a land or house we buy which is just a one off and don’t see any need to pay a professional who will do serious works to make sure our investment is secured and not go down the drain!
