SERMON TITLE: UNDENIABLE EVIDENCE OF LIVING FAITH*
*Text: James 2:17, 26; Hebrews 11:1,6*
*Theme: Faith That Works, Faith That Wins*
*INTRODUCTION*
Beloved in the Lord, good morning and glory be to God for bringing us to a new month April 2026. The same God who has kept us from January till today is able to carry us through this month May and beyond. Hallelujah!
This morning, I want to speak to you on a subject that is not just timely but eternal:BB *Undeniable Evidence of Living Faith*.
Brethren, we are living in a season where the challenges of life are becoming more intense. The economy is shaking. Uncertainty is rising. Many are weary, many are discouraged, and many are wondering if God still answers prayers.
But I want to tell you this morning: *What will keep you standing when everything else is falling is not wishful thinking, not religious activity, but LIVING FAITH.*
Living faith is not optional for a believer. It is essential. It is the oxygen of the Christian journey.
- In the natural, without oxygen, the body dies.
- In the spirit, without living faith, the soul withers.
The Bible says in *Romans 1:17* that “the just shall live by faith.” Not by strength, not by connection, not by money, but by faith. And I’m not talking about dead faith. I’m talking about faith that is alive, active, and undeniable.
Because here is the truth: there are two kinds of faith. There is *living faith*, and there is *dead faith*. One sustains, the other deceives. One builds, the other breaks. One brings victory, the other brings stagnation.
So today, we shall look at the difference, so that each of us can examine ourselves and subscribe to the faith that pleases God.
*BODY OF THE MESSAGE: LIVING FAITH VS DEAD FAITH*
*1. Living Faith is Active, Dead Faith is Passive*
*James 2:17* says, “Faith without works is dead.”
Living faith hears the Word of God and responds in obedience. Like Abraham, when God said, “Go,” he went, not knowing where _Hebrews 11:8_.
