Recently, the British Deputy High Commissioner to Lagos, Jonny Baxter, visited Alaro City.

During his visit, he toured key areas of the city, gaining a first-hand view of the pace and quality of ongoing development. A key highlight of the visit was the Wellington College International site, currently under construction and scheduled to open in September 2027.
