First time I saw someone post about affiliate marketing on Facebook

I saw the comment section and got discouraged

People were saying trash and I started overthinking it not knowing that those people were ignorant

I left it then and I searched on YouTube for the best ways to make money online as a Nigerian living in Nigeria

Guess what?

The same affiliate marketing popped up again and now I had to pay attention

I tried learning from YouTube but the videos were scattered and confusing so I left it again until I saw my friend post about it

I hurried to her dm to ask her how it’s done and then she asked me to buy the 72ig program then

Everyone I told I was going to start affiliate marketing discouraged me then except one man Dr Jerry

The funny thing is - all my friends then were broke like me and they all said I shouldn’t do it

Dr Jerry was one of the few Rich people I knew then and I told him too - he didn’t even let me land he said I should go ahead with it and I shouldn’t look back

He knows what affiliate marketing means generally but not too familiar with the process but yet he said if I’m sure it’s paying my friend and I’ve seen results then I should better try it out before concluding

This is the difference between Rich People and poor people

The way they see things are quite different- poor people always want to safeguard their little and rather remain how they are than to risk that little even if there’s a chance it’ll help them escape poverty

Rich people love taking risk and making new moves that’s why they’ll keep dominating

I refused to think like my broke guys and started anyways

In just 3 month I made my first ever million and I told my friend, he still didn’t believe it’s sustainable and said it was a trap to keep me in the system 🤦‍♂️

I ignored him fully this time and continued my thing as he’s proving stubborn to join me -

He watched me make N5m N10m N50m N100m N200m etc…

He watched me buy my first and second car

He watched me visit 3 countries

And that’s how we disconnected fully till date cos I grew above his thinking level and I don’t ever want to be friends with him again

When I see people talking nonsense today about affiliate marketing online I just smile and remember my old friend

It’s so easy to know a poor person based on how they reason and talk - poor people will hardly believe anything outside the old traditional way of making money

That’s why they’re poor - it’s just a thing of the mind

Until man’s reasoning changes, his life can never change that’s why they’ll see you winning steady and instead of learning, they’ll find a way to see fault in what you do

That’s how they were designed to be and it’s sad you can’t even help them unless they start seeing differently either by reading quality books, changing environments or connecting with new people with a renewed mindset

I see a lot of them and just pity them but there’s actually nothing I can do.
