Topic: Why pray?
Text: James 5:13-16
- Prayers creates a premise for intimacy with God
- Luke 10:38-41, Focus and pray for the things that matters because prayer is a hotline or a busy channel that those who seeks the face of God uses to communicate and stay in full touch with God.
- Man's primary connection is God first before any other person or things and how it's done is through prayers.
- Mark 1:35, Understand that prayer is the rule on earth to attract greatness (men looking for you than hustling for men).
- Man ought to seek God and not God seeking men.
- Prayer will make you more connected to God's divine presence.
- Prayers doesn't help God but it helps you who engages to stay above all things.
- The more you spent time in God's presence, the deeper you get in God, the living water is not on the surface but on the deeper.
- Prayers will helps you to deal with temptation and negativity.
- Prayers will keep you spiritually sensitive. Philippians 4:6
- Jeremiah 33:3, Prayers will open your eyes to see the future, that is prayers will help me capture the future.
- Prayers keeps one in the right place in God's agenda.
How can you be certain that you experience Victory in the place of prayer
- Prayer Brings about power to create, recreate and change things. James 5:17-18, Zachariah 10:1, Isaiah 66:8
- Whatever that is birthed in God in the alter of prayer can't be touched by the devil.
- Matthew 11:22 Be persistence in prayer, glory doesn't come easy
- James 4:2-3, deal with prayerlessness , Be on the asking act through prayer.
- Psalms 66:18 Harboring of sin blocks our access of blessings in the place of Prayer.
- Don't pray amiss, pray in God's will because one can't separate God's will from his word, Luke 18:6-8.
- 2nd Chronicles 20:3 when one understand God's word, the prayer will avail with power, bringing about the needed answers.
NOTE: Is their any man that is afflicted let him come, any that is thirsty let him come and draw from from rivers of living water (all on the alter of prayers and studying of God's word)
Stay in charge through prayer and stay blessed.
